Pitching Hope” is the story of a young, female college student forced to compete in an underground, high stakes game of horseshoes to win back her tuition money. “Pitching Hope” features film newcomer, Joni Adahl (Samantha Moreno), versatile actor and performer, Timothy Perez (Angelo Moreno), accomplished stage actress, Anita Cordell (Gloria Moreno), stunt double and fight choreographer, Raymond Wagner (King Lewy) and post-production editor, Barney Arlyn Storms (Matt Wagner). The film is written and directed by Tony Mendoza and was recently screened at The Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival.

 

In this interview, the cast of “Pitching Hope” talks with CMC host, Cheryl Ariaz Wicker, about their experience and the film being featured at the Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival.
