Christian Movie Connect Episode 1 – John Schneider at NRB (Part 1)

Actor, producer and director, John Schneider, is the founder of FaithWorks Productions, a media company with the mission of producing family-oriented recordings and videos. For most of the public, John is best known for his roles as Bo Duke on the comedy series, “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and Jonathan Kent on “Smallville”, a television adaptation of Superman. He’s also appeared on the shows “Nip/Tuck”, “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”, “Diagnosis Murder”, “Touched by an Angel”, “JAG” and many others. Alongside his acting career, John is an accomplished country music artist with nine studio albums, a greatest hits package and eighteen singles to his credit. He has also performed as Billy Flynn in the Broadway musical, “Chicago”.

In this interview, Schneider talks with CMC host, Cheryl Ariaz Wicker, about the personal blessings and professional challenges of being a part of the entertainment industry. He also talks about his most recent film, “Doonby.”

John plays Sam Doonby, a mysterious, yet talented drifter who gets off a bus one afternoon in a small Texas town to change and improve the lives of all those he comes in contact with. It is a story of greed and envy, played out against the backdrop of the classic country and blues music that is performed in Leroy’s Bar.
